Kenyon's Youth Cafe recently underwent an internal refurbishment and extension to their current facility at The Hub on School Road in Onchan.
The refurbishment and the improvements made have been driven by some of the children and volunteers who use and operate the facility. The charity hopes that by providing a place where young people want to attend will work towards reducing antisocial behaviour in the area and to provide a link to the surrounding community.
Kenyon's provides a space for 11 to 18 year-olds where they can socialise, and obtain access to support and advice if required.
The funding required to complete the works has been provided by the Manx Lottery Trust and Onchan District Commissioners.
