Refund and Cancellations Policy
For goods and services (excluding rent or statutory payments i.e. rates) being purchased through Onchan District Commissioners website:
- Where Onchan District Commissioners fail to deliver in line with our standards, then a full or partial refund will be made as agreed by the Authority
- The credit / debit card used for the payment will be refunded
- This will be done as soon as possible but within 14 days of the refund being agreed by the Authority
- Cancellations will only be refunded at the discretion of the Authority
- If the cancellation is agreed by Onchan District Commissioners, the customer must take reasonable care of any goods already supplied by Onchan District Commissioners until they are collected by us
- If the Authority agrees to a refund following a cancellation, then this will be carried out in line with the above.
Where Onchan District Commissioners agree that a refund is due in relation to rent, or statutory payments i.e. rates not covered under the list above, then:
- The credit / debit card used for the payment will be refunded
- This will be done as soon as possible but within 14 days of the refund being agreed by the Authority
This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
